Although Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands, the modern and historic city of Haarlem is the capital of North Holland. Historically, the city was known for its shipyards, textiles and technical factories. This traces if history can still be found in the museums, churches, monuments and the city center.

In case you prefer nature over the city, we can arrange activities at the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park.

Zandvoort is known as one of the larger beach places in the Netherlands. In addition, it is home to one of the most important race circuits in the Netherlands (Circuit Zandvoort). The Dutch Grand Prix was scheduled to be held at this location in 2020, which would be the first time in 35 years. However, this event was cancelled as a result of the measures that were enforced by the government and the RIVM.

Zandvoort is often referred to “Pearl by the Sea”, owing its name to its miles of long white beaches. Zandvoort is also surrounded by two beautiful dune areas, filled with flora and fauna.

With a population of 17,000 inhabitants, Zandvoort is not a big city. Still, there is an extensive list of activities to take part in at this beautiful location.
